Friends is leaving netflix soon and is now on sale on google play. Same sale price as itunes not toot long ago.

You're better off keeping the DVDs, because those are uncut with bonus features. Unlike the blu-ray and digital releases.

just in case someone isnt aware , its on Netflix ( i know you dont own stuff on netflix and netflix isnt free , but just pointing for someone who did not know).

True, but as the OP noted, Friends will be leaving Netflix soon as NBC launches its own pay service.

Tempting. We currently subscribe to Netflix but there's a distinct possibility friends and the office won't continue on Netflix in the coming years.

I've considered buying DVDs or Blu Ray's and loading them on my Plex server but this is cheaper than the complete disc set goes for even used.

True, it is on Netflix today but has been announced that it will be removed from their service in 2020. Frown This is a great option to ensure you can continue streaming if you are a fan.
