I think there's definitely some novelty, but there's nothing deep that you're going to sink hours and hours into. The games themselves are very simple, but I think the fishing game is definitely a great novelty for guests of all ages and my kids ask for it a lot (younger). But again, there's not much game/content there.

The fun for an adult is really mostly building it and appreciating the design (which obviously isn't for everyone). They are just cool devices--you're genuinely surprised at Nintendo's ingenuity for what they make out of cardboard and rubber bands. I still marvel at the engineering/design behind the fishing unit and how well it pulls off its illusion.

I wouldn't have bought it if I didn't have kids, but I did enjoy building it and messing with it. At this price it's a hell of a lot cheaper than a Lego or model set. I would really think of them more as toys than games.

Anyone know if adults are likely to enjoy these games? The price isn't too bad, but I'm not sure how much content there is.

For those asking, GCU does seem to work. The price drops to $19.99 in the cart.
