You can see the gap by the camera. Right?

Took saddle brown case couple of weeks back for IPhone XS. Color faded to dark brown in first week itself. Although case was still ok but it easily get scratched by the touch of your fingers. If you want great look for the case, you might want to go to some other case but for protection only, it might be just ok. But still I couldn't justify this cost or quality coming from apple

Got one in November, started tearing up a month or so ago, in for a new one. Pretty good quality compared to the other brands I've been buying over the years.

Does the saddle brown get dirty?
Not for me. It does age and develop a beautiful patina though. The only time I take the saddle brown leather case off is when I'm at the gym or doing outside work (I stick a different type of case on it for more protection and I don't care about dirt).

When I first bought the case I took some ribbing from coworkers about where I got such an ugly case (it's very light at first) but it turned a deep brown relatively quick. The leather feel is great and provides a nice "soft" feel when you set it on a hard surface. I'm a big fan of this case and I did try out the Apple silicon case but immediately returned it (caught on everything, and held a ton of lint).

I have multiple cases via Slickdeals (Ringke Onyx, Spigen Rugged Armor) and while those cases are nice the Apple leather case is just hands down my favorite (I work in an office environment, and don't tend to drop my phone). At $25 I would definitely recommend for a "step up" over the cheap $10 cases on Amazon.

iPhone XS case works on the iPhone X, correct?
I think the gap around the camera on the back is bigger than if you got the real iPhone X case. But those are really hard to find now since it's about 2 years old. I think I'll take a chance and buy one to gift to my dad.

Agreed, I have owned many iPhones and the Apple brand leather case is by far the best one I've used. Combine that with the front glass shield and you have protection almost as good as one of those big bulky things.

I posted one the other day for $103 on the XS Max but got slammed with TD votes. Guess $25 off an apple product is not a deal to some.

My experience has been the same. I have a whole bunch of cases (most purchased via SD) and the saddle Apple case has become my favorite. It's also the only case my wife has ever commented on. I'd owned it for a couple of weeks at that point, and it had darkened substantially. She looked at it and said, "when did you get that one? It looks really expensive!" Which I guess is really just an endorsement of the leather patina look.

Nice deal. I may try to price match at Target and get the 5% off, too. I don't think the Best Buy Rewards from a $25 purchase equate to the 5% discount.
