FYI - read the manual and you will see this is not a 2030 PSI unit.
The specs state:Rated Pressure 1450 PSI Max. Pressure 2030 PSI. The unit does not operate at max continuously, so this is a misleading specification.

Is that any different than the specs of every other pressure washer? Honestly asking. If not, it's still a useful figure for comparative purposes. Idk if my 3200psi is actually 3200 but it operates like a "3200psi" washer would

Unless you need the higher GPM really badly, the SPX3500 from yesterdays SD is the better deal because it provides 2000psi continuously. I have never waited for it to recharge, and I have had my hand on the trigger for up to 10 continuous minutes without issue.

I do miss the power and volume of gas, but I dont miss the smell, the loudness, the maintenance, and the occasional thrown out shoulder from pulling the cord.

Which one is better, this 4001 or the 3500 that was on sale?

I have the spx4000. I use it for car washes and smaller duties. The 4001 is basically the same but with the hose wheel. I have a 25' heavy duty extension hose attached and I wish I had the hose wheel. It's such a pain to put the hose away after every use. I definitely think the spx3500 is the better deal but the hose wheel is a selling point for me.

I was looking at the 3001. Should I go after that, the 3500 or this 4001?

Can you link to the SPX3500 deal that you are referring to? I have searched multiple times and don't see it. Thank you

I have a similar electric. It cleans well. I can easily clean my driveway. Gas pressure washers can be so powerful that they damage your concrete.

The 3500 is only 1.48gpm whereas this is 1.76. How much does that matter?

I bought this on Prime Day (from Walmart) and have been happy with it overall, but warning: the reel for the house is atrocious. It's extremely difficult to pay out hose or reel it back in. It seems like the mechanism needs some type of bearings to function more smoothly. Extremely annoying feature on an otherwise nice piece of equipment.
