I upgraded a friend's laptop a few months ago this one of these 512gb sticks. Good chance to learn that apparently these M.2s can be one-sided or double-sided (chips on both sides of the silicon), and that some laptops don't take the double-sided ones. This 512gb is double-sided, don't know about the rest.

It really is. I just replaced my 2012 build with a 3700X and managed to get a nice deal on pretty much every part I bought.

Thanks, OP! In for one. Tom's Hardware gave this a great review. Comparable to Samsung 970 EVO for a lot less.

Been holding out for this 1tb but it actually looks like it's not going to get cheaper anytime soon.. It's actually been a couple dollars cheaper a few weeks ago.. $115-118. I guess I'll be buying an Inland Premium for $107 instead

This is a little cheaper and it's an astounding drive. I just finished my HTPC build using one. Be sure to look at it from the seller Store4PC.

Anyone who got this to work with Linux as a boot drive, can you list your motherboard and chipset? It appears that some people can't get it work on Linux while others can. It could be a motherboard issue. Thanks in advance.

It really is, ram and GPU prices are back to normal. Well I'm still confused about the ram tbh lol. On one end you can 16gb for like $60. But then you have some costing $100.

Something to do with Ryzen builds buuuut... I thought that was just for the older generations like the 1700x or something. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
