2-Pack Hue White Ambiance was $32 at the store in Clackamas, OR. Still bit since I drove all the way there.

I'm seeing $15 for a smart light bulb that's normally $20.

My home depot in Southern California has a yellow clearance sticker on all of the Hue items mentioned. They could be phasing them out or replacing them with an updated version in anticipation for the 2019 Holiday shopping season. While I was at Home Depot they had two bins on the electrical aisle that had clearance merchandise. I bought a 4000K LED Lamp for outside use. An employee indicated the price to be .01 and she said you can't buy it, but I had it in my hands, so she changed her mind and said you can try and see if you can get out of the store with that price. She then said you could alway go through the self-service aisle and than said "you didn't hear that from me" I once bought a structured media enclosure and a Leviton Z-Wave switch for only 1 cent a piece.
The key is to check clearance pricing at home depot with your phone and if it doesn't show up or give you a price go directly to the self-service aisle and try to buy it. The quicker you make the transaction the safer you are. It make me feel like I'm stealing, but I know it technically isn't. After further thought it's a very justified purchase because you get a killer deal and motivates you to go back to Home Depot and sort though their clearance stuff on a regular basis. They are probably hoping that you will make an impulse purchase an help out with the store's total sales and profits.

Forgot the brand name of the LED LIght. I'll update it when I get home tonight. It was a great purchase. I can now light up the side of my house where my storage sheds are located and do work in that location after dusk.
