Copy from previous post:

My raw estimation on this:
i7- 9700 $330
RTX 2070 Super $500
850W power + CPU liquid Cooling $100
16G DDR4 $80
1Tb Nvme SSD $100
Z370 Motherboard with Wifi/Bluetooth $100
Case, Keyboard, Mouse $100
Windows 10 Home $60
$200 Visa GC

Total $1570

And you can make more from some cb sites/amex offers.
e.g:

AA shopping portal: [aadvantageeshopping.com] 2x AA miles + 2000 miles if you buy more than $500. 1 AA mile valued at 1.6 cents
Amex blue cash biz card two offer stacked:
10% off Dell purchase.
1x extra Dell + normal 2x MR = total 3xMR, 1MR valued at 1.6 cents

$1433 as configured(w/ liquid cooling, killer 1650 wifi 6).

AA portal : 2000 + 2866 = 4866 AA miles = $77.9
Amex card: 4299 MR = $69
Dell reward cb 3%: $43
Dell visa GC: $200
Amex 10%: $143

Total cashback: $533
Final: 1433 - 533 = $900 + tax.

I'd call it slick deals

It's a shame that the highest paying cash back site today is only 4%.

For $22 extra get the Killer wireless card. It also has the Bluetooth 5.0.

Agree, based on recommendation from reviewers, it better to go with liquid cooling and killer wifi card for less noisy and new bluetooth and wifi 6 for a little extra.

BE SURE TO CHECK THE NEW DELIVERY DATES! September 24th (and that's EXPRESS!) is a long wait.

My original order from Dell from the last deal hasn't changed status from "confirmed" and still hasn't charged my CC.

I posted the following info in the old deal thread, because I think the new deal is actually slightly better than the last one if you're going down the 9700k/2080S upgrade path.

"LCS10OFF is working again, and stacking with some different discounts that slightly change the deal (better for some builds, actually).

Unfortunately, express delivery date is Sept. 24th now for new orders, but they do still include the $200 Visa gift card. The way the new discounts stack, it works out almost exactly the same as the old deal to get the 9700/2070S ($1367 before tax, $1167 if you count the VGC). Interestingly, I think the 9700K/2080Super combo is actually a little bit *cheaper* with these new codes than the old ones. There is a new 12% off code added automatically now that actually takes 12% off of your upgrades, too. So upgrading to the K series is $86 instead of $100, and upgrading GPU is $172 instead of $200. Water cooler is $43 instead of $50, and so forth. So I think if you're getting the mega version, it's about $40-50 cheaper today than it was in the original deal.

I don't remember what the original base price was for the 9700k/2080Super/Water cooled, but right now it's in my cart for $1637 before tax (you could call it $1437 after VGC) only using the code LCS10OFF and before any other CB/Amex stuff. Pretty sure that's about $50 cheaper than it was in the first round of the deal."

I almost went the K/2080S route originally, but I pinched pennies. With another $50 off, I would probably cancel and reorder with a K/2080S if it weren't for the 6 WEEK waiting period.

With a delivery date so far out, I would be a little worried about processing the Visa gift card. The language was a bit vague/confusing around filing for it within 30 days after you have shipping confirmation. Well if it doesn't ship for 40 days, is it going to add complication/confusion?

Two questions 1: is dell charging you for the full amount now or on ship? 2: do they require signature on delivery? I live in NYC dropping a 1200 buck computer on my front door is a bad idea.

They definitely require a signature for delivery. No idea when they charge, but I know my order from Tuesday hasn't been charged yet (though my CC did have a pending transaction the following day--but that has since vanished). I assume they do the final charge when shipping? That or my order is borked.

I'm tempted to cancel because waiting in limbo is stressing me out.

I'm in the same boat. I bought the 9700, 2070 super, water cooling from the previous deal for around $1514 after tax ($1239 if you want to include the GC and CB). Feeling like I should cancel and get the 9700k, 2080super, killer WiFi along with the water cooling. But my expected delivery date is 8/23.

Also, almost makes me think I should cancel and wait. Seems like a lot of deals are coming out

So I just got the Costco flyer today and on starting on the 29th they'll have this one with 300 dollars off. This is comparable to this deal only that you lose the 1tb m.2 for a 240gb ssd and a 2tb hdd plus, the psu is 650 vs 850 watts, but the incentive here is if you use your Costco card you get 4 year warranty vs 1 year with Dell. So what are your thoughts? https://www.costco.com/iBuyPower-...06288.html

My thoughts are if you use that same card when you purchase the dell you get a 3 year warranty.
