Amazon: Adidas Men's Terrex AX3 Hiking Boot $59.96

There is a checkout discount of $14.99 on the Grey Five/Black/Mesa colorway in multiple sizes. Which takes the price from $74.95 to $59.96. I'm also seeing several other sizes reflect a $11.03 discount. Free Prime shipping & Free returns.

Note: This is definitely a running or hiking shoe, not a boot as the proper title would suggest. I usually wear a size 10 and it was too tight; which is typical Adidas fitting. I would suggest 1/2 size up if you are on the fence and/or have wide feet. Also, the lugs on these are very pronounced and are excellent for tricky and slippery terrain or places where you you would require more grip (e.g., mud races or trail running/hiking).

Product description

The lightweight durability, superior support, and excellent outsole grip of the adidas® Terrex AX3 hiking shoe will make sure every day on the trail counts. Mesh and synthetic upper. Lace-up closure. Protective toe rand. Heel pull tab. Padded tongue and collar. Comfortable fabric lining offers a great in-shoe feel. Molded sockliner for underfoot comfort. Lightweight EVA midsole provides excellent underfoot support and shock absorption. Continental™ rubber outsole provides extraordinary grip even in wet conditions. Imported. Measurements: Weight: 15 oz Product measurements were taken using size 12, width D - Medium. Please note that measurements may vary by size. Weight of footwear is based on a single item, not a pair.

I really like the terrex line as they are more durable and still stylish. These are great for my job which requires a lot of walking.
Not this exact model but my previous ones were less expensive

I just bought a pair of these about two weeks ago as I'm preparing for a hiking trip in Colorado later this month. I've been breaking them in and they are actually super comfortable and have great traction!

Contrary to the OP, the size actually runs large compared to what I'm used to. I've never owned a pair of Adidas before though and have always had Nike. I wear a size 14 but for these I could actually go a half size smaller as my heel does slide in and out a bit when walking.

Thanks for the response! Very interesting you've had the opposite experience. I guess that's why the free return option is so good haha. I guess I will see how the new size fits when i get my order on Monday!

It's called Gore Tex ....and no..you have to pay more

Also these are not truly hiking boots..you want hiking boots you buy Salomon ...these are ok for casuals that go hiking on a paved road in a national park on a 1 mile long trip

As someone new to hiking I recently learned that these are trail runners/shoes not hiking boots. These will be good for casual and easier hikes but not if you are looking for more strenuous walks or climbs. However, the upside for these are that you can actually wear them like sneakers and they will still be pretty comfortable.

Look for GTX (short for Goretex) nomination in the model name if you want waterproof. This goes same with Salomon shoes.
