Fun for five or six plays, but gets old, IMO. We (Me (40) wife and two kids 12 & 8) like strategy card games but it's hard to keep coming back to this one. We prefer exploding kittens for the novelty and Splendor for the strategy.

Not directly math, other than counting who is going to get the last card. It is kind of like a matching game but with other people also trying to get the matches. So you could either help yourself or sabotage other players. I find this game rather fun.

It's a cute game, you have to say "sushi go" in a cute voice after you lay down your cards lol
It's $6.29 after tax with RED card and store pick up.

This is a math solve game BTW. We ended up returning it not because math is hard, but because it's not fun in a turn off your brain card game way. If that's your thing, go for it; wasn't for us.

This is a nice fun game. It's certainly one to add to your board game collection if you don't have it.

It's a cute family game. My young kids really like it. Pictures so no words needed once they know what each card means. It's enjoyable enough that I never mind playing with them. This is a very good price.

Great at this price. I prefer Sushi Go Party for the variety but this game is super fun (especially at this price). Nice lightweight game for introducing others to more hobby like games. Plays well with kids too because of the cute artwork. My daughter who is 8 really enjoys playing it.

I've played it. It's sort of a light betting game based on what you think the other players will do. Each person gets a sizable hand of cards and must claim one card out of pile. They show everyone else what they claimed, and then pass the rest of their otherwise-unknown hand around in a loop, receiving a different hand from the adjacent player. Lather, rinse, repeat, until all cards are claimed for that round. Points are scored based on what arrangements of cards you chose at the end, and then all points are totaled across 3 rounds; the winner is the one with the most points.

Since everyone sees who is taking which cards, you can gauge which card types opponents are trying to chain together, so you can potentially disrupt their attempts. You have to cold-memorize its 8 different kinds of cards and their relations to each other, though the cards have a hint description at the bottom reminding you how they interact.

The other variants (like Sushi Go! Party), I believe, add more card types like Edamame (which I think leeches off of other players' card counts) for further complexity. The base game doesn't have too many different kinds of cards.
