I have my keychain Spyderco. I can't tell you how many times I use it. Probably about as much as people ask me why I have a knife.

That said, no serrated blade kills this deal for me.

Bought three of these off Amazon 6-8 years ago for $45 when it was actually considered a newer model. It's not even made in the USA? Why is there such a premium for a plastic frn handle and a VG-10 blade? VG-10 is old as hell. Buck knives were selling s30v and g10 for $70 9 years ago, and made in the USA to boot. Who would buy a vg-10 Spyderco for more than $60 when so many other companies have better or similar items $20-$30 cheaper?

Spyderco and Benchmade have MAP pricing. Basically just fixing a price instead of letting the open market decide where it should be priced. It's silly, especially when the American knife company Spyderco puts a premium on their Taiwan and Japan models.

The endura is an alright blade, nothing particularly special. Two of my three came with uneven grinds. The satin finish is really pretty. The frn handle is sturdy enough, but definitely feels cheap compared to g10. And the lockback is kind of boring and basically asks to be one-hand closed, which is kinda dangerous sometimes.

$50 is a good price for an endura. $60-$65 should just be standard IMO. The endura model 4 is a 10+ year old model, it needs to be updated before I put down $65 on a pocket bling boxcutter.

I carried an Endura for a long time and prefer the blade length, though you are right that the Delica is better for carry. The longer blades works much better for fruits and food etc.

fwiw my current fav is the Benchmade Bugout, perfectly sized and feather light
I'm not knocking the knife at all, I love it. I like to carry my knives in my pocket and sometimes I wear khakis, and not only the Endura is longer but the blade also sticks out more from the handle when it's closed so it takes up a lot of space in my pocket.

I have the Kershaw Scallion that I carry a lot in my pocket, but I think the handle is a little too small. The Delica looks like the perfect size, its handle is longer than the Scallion but smaller than the Endura.

I like these but the screws that hold the clip constantly get loose

I agree, map pricing hurts the market overall.

Completely agree. I'm a knife snob. This knife isn't in my circle. An American made kershaw blur with s30v kicks this things a$$.

Totally different design of knife, apples to oranges. Different shape, lock and blade steel. I'm obsessed with compression locks(para 2).
I hear ya, kind of going back to the 70's with the lock back system or id be all over it. You can get a Kizer flipper with VG10 & G10 scales cheaper than this deal.

I specifically didn't posted this to SD when it came up because Woot has given better prices on better knives than this. This is pretty damn close to retail on these and even when it's not, there are far better metals and handles for less. Hell the Goldeneye was a better deal than this and that didn't make it to the front page lol.

Of course the dumbest of all the knives here was the one to sell out first. Bunch of mall ninjas surfing woot.

Agree, I bought Kershaw blur with s30v for 55 bucks a year ago, Cold steel Golden Eye with s35vn For 45 a month ago on woot. I cannot justify paying more than 40 bucks for vg10.

Thanks for posting this, I switched pages on woot and bought a Cold Steel AD10. Way better deal IMO, and I have an Endura and Delica already.

blur is a great blade.
so is this endura.

nothing wrong with carrying either, even if you're a knife snob IMHO.
