What about just sting it for lefty? For the money I mean it would be worth it??
You don't string acoustics upside-down because the intonation will be completely off. You'd have to replace the nut and saddle, significantly increasing the cost on this instrument.

From a fellow lefty: If you haven't started learning yet, don't bother with a lefty guitar. It's a pain in the ass (you'll never be able to just pick a guitar up and play) and really doesn't matter much - both hands are at work anyway.
I agree... as a lefty who plays right-handed, I never had the opportunity to try a lefty when I was starting out. When I finally got a chance to try one it felt ridiculously foreign to me.

Which one is better,, the CT-140SE or the CP-140SE? Are they the same size? I missed the CT deal and jumped on the CP deal yesterday, but am curious.
Afaict, they're identical except for the body/sound box dimensions. Materials and scale length are the same. The P model is a "parlor" style that's not quite as wide as the T "travel" model, when measuring across the bouts--from side to side when facing the guitar like it's on a stand.

I'd imagine the parlor model has a little more mid-ranged voice, or at least a little less bass than the traveler. I'll know what the parlor sounds like in a few days with the ShopRunner 2-day shipping 😁

Thx for responding, I hope it sounds nice. Somehow I did not see the Shoprunner 2 day shipping, but it's OK. I am glad I did not jump on the 1st deal for the CT-140SE with the $50 rebate. Had it in my cart and could not pull the trigger for few days...LOL
Then totally missed it the 2nd time - now with the $90 , but jumped on the CP yesterday.

Just ordered and trying to fill out the online rebate form. Is the "order number" that I have to enter the same as the invoice number? Should I be looking for an actual "invoice" somewhere as opposed to the "Print Receipt " page? Sorry... I'm terrible with rebate stuff.
You can use any of your order or invoice numbers given to you for this order.

Has anyone found any similar deals for us lefties?

I am looking to get into the hobby with an acoustic-electric guitar.
If you are a leftie just thinking of getting started then I recommend you try playing righties just flipped upside down like Albert King, Dick Dale, Doyle Bramhal iii

It opens up many more options for guitars you can okay and purchase.

I'm a southpaw with writing and eating but fortunately it was natural for me to play stringed instruments right handed.

Having learned about these players I recommend flipping righthanded instruments like this for all lefties just starting out. You have to learn chords shapes, etc. upside down, but that's pretty easy to get your head around.

Thanks. In for two!
Do I have to make 2 separate purchases to qualify for the rebate?

Can it be 2 of the same colors?

I got mine already but it's a gift that won't be given for another month. I was surprised to see hard case with raised fender lettering, I think it's glue on a regular cheap case but at this price come on its a great surprise. I expected soft gig bag.

Do you recommend any small cheap amp for these?

Totally agree. I'm a lefty, and I learned on a right-handed guitar. I really found it so much easier to learn to fret chords with my left hand than trying to train my right hand to do that task. I'm not a finger-picker, so all my right hand has to do is strum.

No, scale length is shorter on the travel. Look at the specs on the product pages (24.75 vs 23.5"). Nut width is the same though, so the travel guitar would feel roughly like the parlor with a capo on the 1st fret.

Shop runner shipping option was "hidden" for me. You have to select the ~$50 2 day shipping and it turns into shop runner 2 day. Kinda sneaky if you ask me, but w/e. Hope this helps someone!

I didn't get the shop runner option either.
I have waited 3 or 4 decades to start learning how to play a guitar, a week or two is not going to make that much of a difference 🤣
