I've had this system holding my Samsung 55" for the past 8 years. I really do enjoy the "picture frame" look it gives my TV. Just a couple of warnings though...

First, even though my TV has side ports I have so much stuff plugged into the ports that it causes the TV to stick out just a little. If I didn't have the Chrome cast and Fire Stick it would probably lay flat.

Second, and most important, is that the mounting adapters that attach to your TV are PLASTIC! They are a pretty hard, reinforced plastic but they are plastic none the less. If you look at the video you can see the ends of the metal cable have a metal stopper. That rests against the plastic. After about 5 years of hanging on my wall the metal cable breached the plastic and my TV fell. My hypothesis is that because the TV sits closer to the wall there is less ventilation and more heat build-up. This caused the plastic to warm-up and, over time, give way to the amount of pressure the end of the cable was applying to it.

The sheer amount of cables hiding behind my entertainment center (and below the TV) buffered the fall so I avoided a complete disaster but I ended up having to modify how the cable attaches to the TV. Rather than having the end of the cable rest on the plastic I looped the metal cable around the screw that goes into the TV. That way the internal TV structure is taking the load rather than a piece of plastic.

Just thought I would share my experience.

Couple concerns:
1. As others have said and true with any ultra low profile mount: your tv must have side ports for this to work well. Or you can buy a bunch of 90 degree adapters.

2. If you have kids or live where there are earthquakes, etc...this probably shouldn't be the mount you choose. It seems to have no lock/securing mechanism.

3. it seems to rely on only 2 wall side mounting points and 2 VESA TV side mounting points. depending on wall material, weight of TV, and installation this significantly decreases the strength. also not sure the TV's are really designed to take full weigh in just half their VESA points.

4. Zero adjustability for forward tilt. while the leveling adjustment is infinite...it never secures so any tap or bump will likely skew your tv.

price wise hard to beat, just be aware has a lot of limitations.
YMMV.

Tv mount that hangs tv flat on the wall as a picture. Be mindful though the minimum vesa mount is 400mm. (Distance between screw holes on tv).

Amazon has the wrong installation video for this product. Here's the correct one:

Was he plugging in rear facing RCA cables in that video??? Make sure your TV's inputs stick out the side, not the back, before purchasing!

Great price! Usually runs around $20. My first one is still hanging my TV from 10 years ago. Exact same concept and materials it seems. Bought a second one 2 years ago and is still going strong hanging a 55 in TV.

reviews are negative after filtering for verified purchases of the fixed wire mount
