Motorola has Moto Z3 play for $199.99

I think this is a good price for the specs.

6" Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a Max Vision 18: 9 aspect ratio, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage with option to add up to 2 TB of micros expandable memory, and Android 8. 1
Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 1. 8 GHz octal-core processor, 850 MHz Adreno 509 GPU, and fast 4G LTE speed; Body: 6000 series polished aluminum frame
12 MP + 5 MP dual rear cameras for studio-quality portraits and 8 MP wide angle front-facing camera with screen flash
All-day battery + TurboPower charging: 3, 000 mAh battery, hours of power after minutes of charging with TurboPower charging
Use Moto Mods to turn your phone into a movie projector, boom box, battery powerhouse, and more
Instantly unlock your phone using fingerprint sensor or facial recognition
Unlocked for the freedom to choose your carrier. Compatible with AT And T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon networks. SIM card not included. Customers may need to contact Sprint for activation on Sprint's network

Thanks RevOne for this:

Wait.. Didn't this phone come with battery mod already? So you get 2 mods for "free"???
Battery mod only bundles with 64GB version, which is $349.99.

I was hoping the camera mod would have superior low light performance compared to the camera on the phone since it has a bigger image sensor and better optics, but the comments here combined with the fact that it does 1080 video (while the phone does 4K) were a huge bummer. With the camera mod being OOS, it would be pointless to get such an old phone even at $170 (student discount and no mod).

Just got this phone on clearance for my wife at Target for $150. It's a damn good phone for the price. Also came with a back up battery in the box. Very underrated phone and those that don't know phones well or haven't seen this phone in action should keep their opinions to their selves.

will 5g Mod work with this?
Yes, the 5G mod will work with this phone, however, currently that mod will cost you more than the phone ! One drawback is the side buttons are very hard to push.

I read reviews that said Hasselblad True Zoom Mod is useless. The only benefit is zoom. Can Gampad Mod be used as power bank?
I have the Hasselblad camera, the zoom is the best part. But it is awesome. So much better than a rehular phone camera.

It says dual-Sim in some countries? On moto's website, what does that mean?

If my Z Play didn't have a swollen battery at the moment, I'd be more excited for a Moto phone deal. Maybe for $150 I'd bite.

Those have full compatibility in the U.S. with the four major networks and will retain their manufacturer warranties as well? I already know the answer, but I'll let you provide it.
So true. Interesting site gizchina but unless you work in the telecom industry the average user will have their eyes glaze over trying to guess if it'll work on their network. GSM/CDMA, LTE, Band this and that. What does this mean?

I actually messaged several of the China vendors last year (Aliexpress, urlhasbeenblocked, Gear best) suggesting they offer a free or discounted handset to consultants in various countries and have them thoroughly test it. AND then be willing to answer questions either through the vendor's website or their own. No interest. Too bad.

That's not true. The Z3 Play does come with a basic battery mod in the box

Thinking of switching to this from LG G5. Looks like the specs are fairly similar, even favoring the G5 on many fronts. Is there a point or am I better just waiting for Black Friday deals?

Shitty price for a 6xx snapdragon phone.. $75 would be closer to real market value for new....
$75? Pfffft. Pick on something that than just 6xx.

My Pixel 3a XL feels just as fluid as many other 8xx phones I've had. New phones from Moto, Xiaomi, Samsung, and Google have 6xx and get great reviews, especially for a sub $500 price unlocked and without trade/new line/etc hoops
