Costco.com has Vizio SB3621n-G8 36" 2.1 Channel Soundbar with Slim Subwoofer for $149.99-$20 = $129.99, through 08/28/19. This is the latest version of the highly-reviewed SB3621n-E8. I got one when it was $150, gonna do price adjustment, pretty good sound in my opinion.
I had a guy at Costco say the Vizio sound bars do not sound great. Kind of tingy or pingy sounding.
Would this be a good choice or would the Bose sold for $179 at Costco & Sam's be better.
Or the Yamaha for $119 on sale at Costo right now be a good choice?

I just got the Yamaha YAS-207 and I love it. Awesome sound for a bar and the DTS virtualX works really well, really widens the soundstage imo. Solid bass, works perfectly with ARC and CEC. Has an HDMI in and out as well as Bluetooth, optical and analog. Way better than the Bose Solo I had before and the Magnifi mini. Those weren't bad but this sounds much better. But for basically the same price I'd recommend the Vizio 5.1, I'll be picking that up as well

The Yamaha 1080 is the top rated Soundbar on numerous independent review sites. Can't go wrong with that at $120. Personally I think it should be FP as it only gets that low once or twice a year.

Where are you seeing the Vizio 5.1 for around $120?
Glad to see this is back in stalk at costco.com. it was out of stalk for a couple days a few days ago.. now i have to decide if i pull.. the trigger and get, since its the last day !!
I have a 1080 in one room and the SB362 in another guest... the subwoofer adds a lot that comes with the Vizio. The Yamaha has better highs in terms of ability to handle them, but the Vizio is no slouch. Happy with both, but the Yamaha setup needs an additional sub added to it for punch. The so-called built-in subs are a mockery to the term 'subwoofer'.

This is just the 2019 version of the Vizio 3621. 2.1 bar. Best buys is a 3.1 bar with Dolby atmos
Costco 2.1 bar does have dts virtual x which kind of simulates Dolby atmos effect in a way but is not atmos tho.
If I needed another sound bar I'd jump on this one probably. The Vizio 3621 in 2017 was voted king of budget Soundbars by CNET I think.
