We have been with Cricket for 3+ years and the 3 Mbps download speed has not been an issue for anything we run, including videos on our phones.

You can buy a number to Port in from eBay and just remove the Sim and put the Sim with your number on it when you get the phone. It's only about $5

I would buy this if the unnecessary cricket logo on the back of the phone wasn't so small, it needs to be twice as big. lol

Their unlimited plans: "data speeds limited to max of 3 Mbps"
Limited plans: "download speeds max of 8Mbps(LTE)/4Mbps(4G)" so you can run out of data faster?
To those of you with this carrier, is the 3 Mbps a hindrance?

The device you want to unlock has been active for at least six (6) months of paid service. See https://www.cricketwireless.com/l...olicy.html

I bought a T-mobile # on eBay last year for a Cricket port-in to get an iphone and it worked fine.

Has anyone had any luck using an online sim unlocker for Cricket Motorolas?

I've tried to get my E5 Supra unlocked thru ebay and a few sites and none of them could do it (though they all advertised they could).

Looking for one that can send a code instead of hijacking a PC and doing it thru USB.

I have the fast unlimited plan and normally get 60 Mbps these days. It used to be 8. 3 is terrible.

I grabbed an unlocked G7 Power (Supra Twin) a few weeks ago from Bestbuy and really like it. Only thing I don't like about unlocked Motos on Cricket is that they don't allow you to use unauthorized hotspot. My LG G6 and Huawei Mate SE handle hotspot duties but I hate having to move my sim around.
