I could go for a handheld one to clean up small messes. Dragging out the full size one all the time gets old.

I would suggest going with aHoover Power Dash [amazon.com]. I have a full-size, handheld, and one of these. This is like a one room maximum cleaner with the water tank, but it does an excellent job and is lightweight. I have four dogs and a two-story home, so I use this as backup and for small messes, so I'm not running up and down the stairs with the bigger one. It also cleans really well. One or two passes and the mess is cleaned up. Handheld is fine, but IMO they don't do as good of a job and it ends up taking longer from all the extra scrubbing you have to do.

TU for the list. All 10+ Walmarts don't have it in stock and/or for the price listed, maybe its all glitches, YMMV.

Yeah. Its extreme YMMV. I went to 3-4 stores near me which had least prices for either of them. But they all were out of stock. Luckily I found the Hoover Power Scrub in one of the stores for $30. With protection plan for $3, it was a sweeter deal.
