Is this really a sale anymore? Every other week this keyboard or it's identical chinese clone is on sale around this amount so it really should be considered the base price. This keyboard is marketed under several different names/manufacturers, just browse Amazon and you'll see it has as many clones as Jango Fett. It's a great cheap mech keyboard with removable Outemu dustproof switches, however the input lag makes it totally worthless for gaming.

I have this keyboard and like it. It doesn't make sense to get non-mechanical keyboards these days, with mechanical being so cheap. And yes, I know, blue switches. Clicky, to those who find that annoying.

That said, I wouldn't get non-backlit version. Problem is that regular non-backlit keycaps have white writing on black plastic. Not for that keyboard. Those are same keycaps that backlit version uses which means it is transparent grey plastic meant to be illuminated from LEDs, except that in non-backlit version it is not illuminated. So, grey on black is hard to read. I ended up sending it back and getting backlit version.

Also, this RII K61C keyboard [amazon.com] is arguably a better deal at 17.09 for backlit. I ordered that one as well and also happy with it for the price. Again, blue switches. Some people don't like the <Enter> key, though, so YMMV.

Where do you see how much input lag they have, or are you just assuming?

Any deals out there for a 104-key brown switch, RGB mechanical keyboard? Hoping to spend under $40. Currently using a Qisan Magicforce, and missing the number pad and FN keys.

backlit, aluminum deck, programmable keys, gaming key caps, I can't see how one could go wrong with that keyboard.

I picked up a similar looking generic gaming mechanical keyboard from a similar looking random Chinese brand on amazon for about the same price and I've found myself liking it so I picked up one of these since I took my first one into work. I don't consider Aukey enough of a brand name over the random Chinese brands to pay the $33 bucks for their 104-key mechanical keyboard vs the 17 for the other one.

Same. Don't really see why brown switches are over double the price of blue.

These switches are certainly not swappable. They're soldered in according to the Q&A on the product. Are you thinking of being able to replace the keycaps because they're cherry stems?
