Price is now $779.99 plus $111.48 in Rakuten Points (went up to 12%). Might want to correct the heading ;-)

This is the virtually the same as the Legion Y540 (even the BIOS says so) and a terrific gaming laptop!

Same as the version with the 1660Ti card for $799.99 from the deal 2 weeks ago except this has a 256 GB SSD instead of a 128GB SSD that one had.

Think of it as slightly less powerful video card in exchange for a larger (and faster) SSD for this deal. "Pick your poison " Wink

I've played BF1, Apex legends, Csgo, Battlefront 2, and some older games. All on max settings.

Not sure if any of those really test its peak performance

The first image on the Rakuten site shows RTX graphics. Will this work for the new Minecraft ray tracing release or is it a mistake?

Is this laptop convenient for work? I'm not looking for a weak laptop since my old laptop can't handle Photoshop and I tend to do graphic designs on it, so it's infuriating when one action loads for 5 minutes. Any suggestions? Is this convenient for carrying and travelling?

This laptop model is available with an RTX video card, but this particular listing is for the GTX video card, so no ray tracing.
The RTX lettering in that pic is just a typo of sorts.
