No, these have a heavy, solid heel designed specifically for powerlifting. You wouldn't want to wear them for anything other than that.

For people asking about shoes and squats and such, the answer depends.

These are raised heel shoes, which were made to aid in improving full squat range of mobility. This is practically essential for Olympic Weightlifting (i.e. the clean and jerk, snatch, and doing high bar ass-to-grass squats). That is assuming you don't have top tier mobility like Toshiki or something.

For those asking about squats specifically: If you squat in a high bar position i.e. the bar placed on top of your contracted traps (never put a bar on your neck guys) and you want to squat full depth/ATG, then these are ideal if you are limited in ankle mobility but want your booty meat to be as close to the ground at the bottom of your squat so you can become closer to Mother Earth. Or maybe you just want to get a full range of motion squat for strength training like a weirdo.

If you are a powerlifter that does low bar squat i.e. bar placement a little further down on your traps and the tops of your deltoids (feel free to correct me, as I've always done high bar and do Oly lifting and low bar squatting looks like a foreign language to me still) then these are really up to preference. I know friends that prefer flat bottom shoes/being as close to barefoot as possible for squatting low bar, and others who do well with Oly style shoes.

In general, if you are looking for good squat shoes, you want something with as minimal compression as possible in the entirety of the sole, because if you use something with a cushion like most modern sneakers/running shoes, the force you'd be trying to apply into the ground is mitigated by the absorption and overall the base is less stable.

I personally do not own these shoes, but Adidas and Nike are the power houses for Olympic Weightlifting shoes. I personally have the first gen Adidas Leistungs and do well with them, and I would trust Adidas with weightlifting shoes since they have a substantial history of a good product, namely the Adipowers.

I hope this helps.

Great deal! I got these for $85 and love them. Squats are so much more balanced and stable with these.

Great price for great lifters. I've used mine for about a year and love that they are breathable and comfy. They provide a solid base while doing oly lifts and are agile enough to use during some crossfit wods.

Are these comfortable to walk around in? I like the look but don't power lift.

Eva instead of tpu heels but solid shoes for squat especially at this price. I believe its .75 inch toe drop which is same as other flagship weightlifting shoes like adipowers and romaleos.

Those of you who own these, it says to order one size up, do you recommend that?

These good for curls? Mostly concentration curls with dumbbells, but also sometime EZbar curls where I throw my hips forward to start the flex?

Asking for a whole bunch of friends.
