Lol so 2 minutes at 500watts?
Maybe it's enough to turn off your devices securely when there is a sudden power outage

This isn't meant to let you continue gaming. The average pc uses 100 watts or less when doing simple tasks. This gives you plenty of time to save what you are doing and shut down gracefully.

May I recommend a Tesla powerwall for your needs?

I would like to add that these help really nicely if you live in an area with frequent brown-outs.

You expected more? I'm guessing you're clueless. Want longer runtime? Buy a bigger UPS. Or, even better, outfit your house with a propane or natural gas instant-on generator then these will more than suffice.

This item does not have user supported battery changes. Battery goes dead, this goes to the landfill.

Do not buy and or support such products that dont give you the right to repair.
Want swappable batteries? buy a bigger UPS that support them.

https://www.amazon.com/Back-UPS-B...B07B6RMMD4

It also says right on the APC website that the battery is hotswappable

https://www.apc.com/shop/us/en/pr...l/P-BN900M

If you have other information on this though, I'd like to see it as I agree with your statement. I wouldn't buy this if the battery cannot be changed.

2.9 review score on Amazon, but only 11 reviews so might have been a bad batch/seller. All I could find on the BN900M specifically outside of the sites in the OP.

Then why does APC show that a replacement battery is available for this model?

Here is the webpage from which the screenshot was taken. It's shown under Technical Specifications -- Bateries and Runtime and again under Options.
