The "limited" deal is on amazon, and price is after 5% S&S. Shipping is free with Prime. Was looking for an oil change and this popped up, and the price is reasonably low.

Available for the same price in 3 different weights:

10W-30

5W-20

Fine oil. It is the same as SuperTech from Walmart. Jugs are stamped with Warren Distribution on the jug

Seriously. What's so sexy about cheap oil? I'm sure for the people who don't care about oil, their car will be fine... but those people aren't changing their own oil. I could be wrong but I'm sick of my friends asking me to fix their cars they've neglected for 10 years. But yeah for ten bucks more you could get some better oil.
Ever heard of Mobil rebates? It was $12 for me after all the discounts.

Nah Costco is the cheapest hands-down, if you can piggy back off someone's membership.

I've done the max rebate from that, and this looks like the next decent deal atm.

I dunno is it Top Tier? That's a really good objective measure.

I know cheap oil is OK if it's SAE certified. I just don't buy it. I like a little extra R&D in my oil. My engines are high mileage (135k, 99k, and 121k) and I want to keep them running for a long time. Every year my paid-off cars keep running it's another $5k in my pocket. It's why I buy the best brakes, the expensive shocks, the dealer trans fluid, the OEM master cylinder, etc.

I am a Costco member. So you do $27-12 rebate? For that 1qt x 6 right?

If you have Walmart there was Mobil 1 in-store coupon. So it was more like $23-5-12, $6 for 5qt

Yes, I think it was roughly $7 for 5qt of Mobil 1 Synthetic oil, after the in-store Walmart coupon and rebate.
