Why get an eBook when you could get most of the recipes in Video on YouTube?
True. But for that first you gotta know what are you gonna cook. Many people out side Indians doesn't know much about the names of the dishes to even search. These kind of books is helpful. And it's under 1 dollar. Not a big spend to have one.

Turmeric and coriander... up to 90%.

Seriously, I emptied my bank account to buy this, and it seems to be quite good for a kindle book. Lots of pages, good recipes, color pictures, and information about various grains/spices/foods.

Anyone know the type of Indian cuisine this book is teaching (Pujabi, Tamil, etc.)? Majority of what I find in the Bay Area is northern (with a few exceptions); it would be interesting to get some exposure to other regions. For a $1, I'll give it a go although I do find I use digital cookbooks less than physical ones (and I'm sure Vahchef probably covers most of this anyway...).

Thanks. It looks like a good resource. I grabbed it but I probably can't source half the ingredients where I live.

Youtube will have recipes and step by step methods for chicken curry, biryani, masala dosa, upma, idli. for free.
The problem I have with YouTube is that there are so many versions of the same dish, I don't know which one is actually good...
