So much misinformation in this thread. I own the 2018 65" P Quantum and also sell them for a living.

The main differences between the 2018 P Quantum and the 2019 P Quantum X is that the 2019 version has twice the amount of local dimming zones (192 vs 384). The 2019 also gets a bit brighter. The 2019 P Quantum is going for $1300 and my warehouse right now. If I had the choice between the 2018 P Quantum (which I own) for $900 and the 2019 P Quantum X for $1300... I would go for the 2019 P Quantum X no question.

That being said... The 2018 P Quantum is a DAMN good TV! Easily the best I've ever owned and it puts the Samsung QLED 6 and 7 to shame as far as I'm concerned. If you have a bright living room or can't deal with the OLED burn in issues, there's not much out there that can beat it. I have zero regrets.

The 2018 P Series was replaced by the 2019 P Quantum (non X) and the P series has been retired. The M series is still around (great bang for your buck, although I would go for the TCL 6 series over the Visio M) but is now kind of a hybrid between the old M, P, and E series. It's now called the M Quantum. The E series has been replaced by the V series (which is the same for the most part)).

Visio basically just got rid of the P Series and then shifted their naming structure which has caused a lot of confusion between the 2018 and 2019 models.

The PQ is a higher end tv than this, this is equivalent to the 2018 P series, just FYI.

The only con seem to be terrible viewing angle and the built-in smart OS.

The 2018 P Series Quantum - PQ65-F1 - was between $1400-1600 for Black Friday. Costco had the best price at $1400, and BB and a few others had them at $1500.

I picked two up from costco, one for me, one for my parents who were working off a 13 year old Sony Bravia. The 2018 version is fantastic, I love it.

The 2019 P Quantum is essentially the 2018 P series. Also, a great price for this model.

The 2019 P Quantum X is essentially the same as the 2018 P Quantum, looks like they changed the naming structure a little bit.

Best bang for your buck. Get it, you won't be disappointed.

My guess would be OLED's will be around $999 for 55" TV. QLED 65" would be for $999 during BF

The 2019 models such as the C9 maybe, last year's OLED models are already at that price

Rting says it is great for video games, but I'm assuming they mean non online games because the input lag is decently high. Graphics > frame rate but that's expected because this is a TV with HDR, not a monitor.
