Not soldered RAM. This is not the R2 model, it's the last gen and it uses normal SO-DIMM's.

I very much HATE manufacturers using soldered RAM (especially in a powerful machine that you will want to upgrade) in the name of thinness. I won't be buying the R2.

Not worth it till they up the RAM imho

RAM and HDD are the bottleneck here, add another stick of 8gb and take out the hybrid hdd for a 512 NVME m.2 and add back the 1tb hybrid for storage.

Ooof.. 8GB soldered ram. That kills the deal dead imo.

*edit* - I'm told that is incorrect. I saw soldered RAM in the comments. (Thanks Hat Trick)

This model with the 1TB HDD only comes with the 60 Whr battery, not the extended 90 Whr battery.

Same problem as the last time.
Overpriced SSD. People wants the 90whr battery (+$41) but the kicker is the SSD which is OVERPRICED @ $146. There's no way around it. If u want the bigger battery u need to get the SSD.
