As much of a "recycling" mentality that Apple has these are pure junk when you bottleneck at the hard drive. What a waste. There is a workaround to buy a thunderbolt ssd and move all of MacOS to that but why...this price isn't THAT good.

I have the 27" fusion model. Even if you pull it off without destroying your screen, lots of people have their fans just running full speed because it can't detect temp monitoring on the HDD. Even with a lot to do it it's hit or miss... as expensive as it is, just buying what you want in there is the best option.

The fact that Apple doesn't sell a single computer that can contain 2 hard drives is completely insane and shows what they think of their customers

I was able to swap the HDD to SSD in my iMac 27" super easily. It's all about having the right tools. I did right out of the box before turning it on.
