Extremely tempted, I've been wanting one of these for a long time and am surprised to see it go on sale for so low. If you want a "small" phone, this is unrivaled without spending a lot more money.

I think for the price you won't find a better value without jumping through payment plan hoops. It is pretty much top of the line specs for $250 (Snapdragon 845, 4GB RAM/64GB Storage, MicroSD Slot). The camera won't blow you away (but it isn't terrible either) and it lacks a headphone jack if that matters to you.

Also, it says it comes with Three Months of Mint Mobile and a folding case of your choice.

SD845 for 250$, this is a good deal. The Compact series is probably the last in small sized for people who don't want a giant screen, just a compact device. (No pun intended).

Current user. Envy this price so much that I am starting to create eBay listing for my current phone which was purchased at 2x this price.

Very good phone. It does not amaze you on any aspect, other than the small size. But you can hardly complain about it too. All performance factors are well within good range, if not in excellent range.

Only one main complaint from me:
1) Camera is not top notch. It's just okay camera. Considering there are phones using Sony sensor with better image quality, this is quite shameful.

And 2 minor complaints:
1) Sony's OS does not allow you to install Apps to SD card. So it only is a storage expansion. Meaning there's a future date you will need to upgrade due to no space for OS and Apps. Although could be long given 64GB internal storage.
2) The phone is thick due to battery. It could be slimmer, its predecessor is actually slimmer, but not this one. I don't know why.

At this time, $250 is a very good price.

Why do you think this is garbage? This is a great price for the phone. The phone is unique and has some great features.

Ouch that last part Re: no headphone jack crushed my excitement so much. Was looking for a replacement phone for the gf and this was sooooo close.

Edit: I guess the 10e at $250 isn't too far away. Maybe like 8 months?

Quite frankly, it should matter to everyone. Removing the headphone jack is usually done to increase the battery size. A 2,870mAh battery just isn't a good enough reason to remove the headphone jack. And they skimped on the fast charger.

They tell you it is to increase battery size or for water resistance, but it is just a lame excuse. Asus zenfone 6 has a 5000mah battery and a flip camera and a headphone jack.

This is not the compact version, FYI. I am currently using the XZ1 Compact with a 4.6" screen, this one has 5.7"
It has a 5" screen. You are thinking of the standard XZ2 which has a 5.7" display.
