I want it recording everything while parked also, people walking past admiring my car, keying my car, peeing on my door handles, FBI attaching a GPS tracker under my car, etc. Etc.

And who would these dashcammers be? I have 2 dashcams and both use 64GB.

High end ones
I use the Aukey ones that were posted numerous times here on SD, though they do take up to 128GB, I've been using the 64GB endurance pro and have one extra reserved in the car just in case i wanted to save the video and not accidentally overwritten.

I currently use this micro sd card in my aukey dr02 dashcam. From my experience a full card had about 2 months worth of recordings (my drive times ranged from 10 mins to 40 mins).

I've seen a couple of accidents happened while driving and wanted to view it later but I did not want to take a chance and remove my SD card so I carry one as extra, but 64GB was plenty for me. Maybe when I get some extra cash, will try the high ends one.

I have a 32 gb that came with my thinkware camera. Lately it's only been recording 1.5 hours worth of video, before it overwrites the old. (Edit to say: Card still has 75% capacity available, so it's not a space issue. Company said I should get a new card. They also said I should get theirs, because it has their specific programs on it. I don't really believe that, but can anyone else confirm?
I could have really used that footage today when some jerk dinged up my pretty red charger.

Is there any dashcam that automatically connects to your home wifi when you return and move the files to a shared folder (smb) on the network?

I doubt "most" folks use 128. I do, because I have a dual front/rear system that records twice as much per second. But 64 is entirely OK for a single cam, unless it's 4K.

Yes. Quality cameras will also lock video if they register an impact.
