I just pulled the trigger on the 50" (haven't received it yet). After a lot of research (and info from a user here, prankies), H8F seems to be best bang for your buck. Compares pretty closely to TCL 6 series (but is generally cheaper).

65" is also $100 cheaper at $600. Other than bad viewing angle, it's a great TV for the price.

What about versus the prior hisense 65" deal?

Worth the $200 difference from Roku to Android OS?

Can anyone who owns this comment on the response time of the panel? I checked this at BestBuy and noticed significant ghosting, not sure if that was due to some misconfiguration or just slow response time of the unit

A friend recently got the 50H8F. It's brilliant.

I just bought the 65" at BB for $399. Geekt squad delivered it for free. Great TV but poor wifi card. If your router is far recommend Ethernet for 4K! Great picture but not good for graphically intense video games.

You bought the 65" for $399? Do you mean the 55"?

Very close ot the TCL 6 series. Not quite as good with motion or brightness and may have some 24p judder depending on input. Better reflection handling though and good colors. https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...shold=0.05

Wait for the H9F to go on sale, it's the best reviewed budget TV ever.

What's the cheapest it's been? If it were $500 I could justify getting that over the H8F. But I'm also in a bit of a crunch and need a new TV before college football begins next weekend...
