For starters this sale was planned for a while. 2nd it was Disney that backed out of the original deal and tried to force Sony like a bully.
3rd how does this comment help me find my deals here?

Part 3 was TERRIBLE, and that's coming from a person who loves similar everything Sam Raimi has done.

I always thought Spiderman 1 bu/2 were the best superhero movies, however, Tom Holland is the first Spiderman since the comics to feel like an actual highschool student.

I don't agree with your overall distaste with the Marvel Spuderman's, either. The added humor is fantastic, the action sequences on par with Raimi (different, but great...certainly more creative) and it doesn't waste time with origin stories
It doesn't waste time with origin stories because all the leg work was already done with the original Spider-Man movies! Come on put things in perspective. I like both movie series. But like I tell everyone, If you want to watch Spider-man that is closest to the comic, it's the original movies hands down. Mary Jane, Harry Osborn, Eddie Brock, Aunt May actually be in an old woman...and all their associated relationships. Including the villains. Spider man is the closest to Batman that Marvel has where it's a self contained superhero, with dozens of awesome villains. All that is closest to the comics and 90s TV show. No argument to be made against that.

Literally the only reason why the modern day Spider-Man works is because the MCU is already set up for him to fit in. Which is why he needed Ironman's technology. Nothing in the MCU spiderman relates to anything in the comic except for spider-man being a high school student.

Dont even get me started on how water down his skills are in MCU, requiring high Tech in his suit. Spider man is bad a** without it.

That's my biggest complaint to MCU spidey. He's clueless. To be that bad, he should still be in his origin story. Since they skipped that, he should be competent.
I enjoyed the TAS series and only disliked Foxx Electro. The raimi movies have the right idea but I think Tobey was terrible casting.
IMO, the PS4 game is the absolute closest rendition to classic spidey. They made their alterations but the spirit is pinpoint.

thanks OP! I picked up Dying Light: The Following (which isn't on sale, but still at a good price). The gameplay for Dying Light 2 looks great. Also picked up Project CARS. For those interested, I think these are all good deals:

* Batman trilogy
* Bioshock collection
* Pyre
* Rise of Tomb Raider

Is Xcom 2 Collection worth it at that price even though it's like a 4 year old game by now? Huge fan of the original and the remade Xcom 1.
