Can't find much comparison via other stores, but here is a link to eBay prices [ebay.com]

how close do these get to a shave? are these any better than a BIC Comfort 3 Hybrid Men's Razor.

I've had the Norelco sensotouch 3d from about 3-4 years ago (the highest end rotary at the time) and I've found that itll only go as low as a mid day shadows closeness. Add on top of that all the continuous swirly motion needed to get everything cut off, there ends up being too much irritation to justify using versus a razor. IMO if going electric use a foil type for closeness. These are however great at catching the hard contours of the face though.

Have you been able to find refills? I got it around 2012. in January of this year I finally had to switch back to shaving cream and a Mach 3 due to being unable to find OEM replacement blades. I do miss the ease of dry shaving but don't miss the razor burn from the worn out blades..

No I can't find new blades of the original style. Phillips does sell the newer version now, but it's widely regarded as a huge downgrade from the original. The main complaint being that the blades can't flip open to clean out the hair dust underneath.
