I have this knife, it's great. It is handle heavy FYI for those who prefer blade heavy knives

Are these straight (can take a sharpening) or serrated?

Cooks knife is straight, steak knives are serrated.

I highly prefer the Ikon series over the regular because the lack of a full bolster makes sharpening easier. I also like the ergonomics better, but I feel like it pushes you away from pinch gripping. Great price on a great chef's knife.

The ikon is a solid knife. Easy to sharpen without a full bolster. Enough roundness to the belly if you like to rock chop.

Anyway to confirm that the knife(ikon) is the real deal? I'm just afraid that I may be buying a fake.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
