This is the lowest it's ever been I believe? I know it's a ton of money but it's a great card.

So is this a good price or is it worth waiting for lower?

I cant say on this particular card, but the 2080ti is the way to go if you're pushing 4K gaming to the max.

and assuming the brand is good (I have no idea) this is a good deal up to this point.

but prices may go down if AMD comes out with their new ray tracing cards as planned. Smilie

Supposedly a 2080 ti Super is rumored so maybe more price drops across different manufacturers?

Still overpriced. I don't want to know what shenanigans they'll pull with the 2180 Ti now that mining has (unfortunately) made a comeback.

I can't bring myself to support what Nvidia did with the 2080 series. The 2080 Ti is only 30% faster than the 1080 Ti, and cost ridiculously more. The Ti versions of previous gens always have about 50-80% performance gains and $700-800 MSRP. Total dick move on their end, and the pulled the ray tracing crap over our eyes to cover up their greed. I'm really hoping they'll make a change with the 2180 Ti.

Been looking at the 2070 Super for around $550 for 1440p. This is a good price for a 2080TI.

If you don't agree their price, don't buy it. That's why we have so many good deals on Apple stuff recently because their stupid price gouging, people stop buying them, and we got deals.

The 1080ti was a 30% jump over the 1080 and that was significant. Claiming 50-70% jumps in previous gens is a bit much.

Over 980 Ti, not 1080

New 1080 Ti's at this tier of card, if you could even get one, would sell for $700-800 right now, or comparable to a 2080 Super. If you look at the upper-range 3D Mark scores conventionally overclocked 1080 Ti vs. 2080 Ti, you'll see that the 2080 Ti does in fact score about 40-50% better.

This Zotac card is pretty good at $1k, especially if no tax free shipping. A-chip (binned), though the 115% (300w) power limit bios is a bit low. Appears to be an oversized 2-slot cooler on a reference PCB, which is a good configuration to start out with but could also be readily upgraded to a hybrid kit or water block. These coolers would also be good for 3-slot SLI, if you were ok with modest power limit cards or were willing to reflash to a higher power limit bios.

2080 Ti Super has been rumored but has been officially denied and unlikely to happen as they would infringe on the ultra premium Titan RTX market by unlocking more cores and adding faster memory.

1080ti wasn't a generational jump over 1080. 1080ti was generational jump over 980ti.

I have one of these in my Ibuypower snowblind rig (the Amp Extreme version). The tower has a clear LCD side panel so you can see inside and it's mostly white so that whatever is displayed on the LCD is visible.

I had issues with the zotac 2080TI RGB and had to engage their support team. I thoroughly outlined everything I had tried to resolve the issue and it was as though whoever had received my case didn't bother reading a bit of what I wrote as their recommended steps were things I'd clearly indicated I had already tried. Their ultimate response was to RMA the card. I had this exact same problem with two of their cards. It's still not resolved and I'm not sending in the card to be without it for who knows how long. The RGB isn't that important. It just sucks that it's functionality I'm supposed to have but do not and Zotac's support team has seemed ill-equipped to assist.
