$329.99 with an Xbox game pass pc

Performance is around a Vega 64 / GTX 1080

$50 more than the ASRock Vega 56 also on Newegg which is also a pretty decent buy and in (somewhat the same performance bracket?) when properly tweaked but bear in mind that the 5700 is newer amd tech, runs faster right out of the box and will have longer product support

I really wish these comments had a flag for users to click "I own this product" so users can get a better idea of how heavily they weigh each person's input. There is too much "conventional wisdom" passed on based on outdated findings for related but not very similar products. You still see a bunch of references to AMD drivers never getting updated, every budget APU laptop is crapped on about how bad the CPU performance is, NVidia cards not having as much VRAM as advertised, etc, from people who obviously have no direct experience with the products.

A lot of people automatically assume blowers = bad without even owning the product, which I assume you probably don't or you would know it runs much cooler and with lower power draw than almost any mid-grade card released in the last 3 years. These comment sections are so full of "advice" based on 9th degree I heard someone say something about a remotely related product so I'll pass it down. The XT is a little more power hungry so MIGHT make enough noise to go above the baseline of your computer setup, but the non-XT is very unlikely to even with 0 mods, undervolting, etc. I have the Vega 64 and 56 blower cards as well, which had poorer coolers and higher power draw at the same time and even these barely cause noise above the power supply and system fans. Below is the load power chart for all the recent GPU releases - draw your own conclusions on how horribly loud these are. If you are going for whisper quiet, passively cooled HTPC it's obviously a problem, but unless you get a lemon, they are NOT LOUD compared to a standard mid-tower, well ventilated mid-ATX build.

Blower cards like this are pretty loud and you would need to undervolt it to stop.

Try looking for an AIB card for about $80 bucks more.

sidenote: Newegg has really went down in quality from its pc pioneering days and only offer an exchange/replacement of the card instead of a return. Keep that in mind before purchasing.

Stock cooler is quite loud, so if you do not care about that, this is a pretty slick deal!

What is the Nvidia equivalent of this card? Better or worse than my GTX 1070 Ti?

I think many missed the fact that Newegg changed hands a few years ago (some Chinese tech company now controls it). So no, it's not the Newegg like that of the pioneer days - I second them being awesome then though.

Tempting deal, only $20 but it's the cheapest 5700 on the market right now.

Picked up a XT version at MC for $339. Love it. Definitely not as loud as people are saying, my last 980ti was louder

I don't think they are worth too much, Microsoft offers months for cheap all the time.
