The lighting cable is no longer included. Please remove. Not sure how slick this is any more. Mixed reviews on quality.

$5 easy enough gamble, I have a HTPC with 4x displayport and a single HDMI. HDMI runs the VR headset flawlessly, DisplayPort (DP to HDMI monoprice cable) drops audio any time I turn the receiver off. Switching inputs once warmed up fixes the issue, but it's a rabbit-hole of troubleshooting, and not uncommon. Most likely a "feature" of DisplayPort technology, y'all.

Anywhoo... worth a shot. Even if it fails at least I have a sweet, sweet mFi lightning cable, of which no one can ever have enough. Props, OP.

Nothing special about this. Only supports hdmi 1.3. Meh! You can forget about 4k.
