This is new low price from Costco for the version with wireless charging case.

Edit: actually this is not new low price but the same price as a deal a month ago.

Short answer is yes.

With the Wireless Charging Case, charging is as simple as placing your AirPods in the case and laying it on a Qi-compatible charging mat. The LED indicator on the front of the case lets you know that your AirPods are charging. And when you're away from a charging mat, you can use the Lightning port to charge.

Is this a good price or will there be better deals at Thanksgiving? I'm thinking whether to bite now or get a lower price at a potentially different seller at Thanksgiving.

Thanks! I got it for the same price from Adorama last month..

Order these in march with $10 off
Order went on backorder and didn't ship till last month.
Called customers care and got it for $169.

Good deal.

I have been holding out just because I still don't like the form factor of the AirPods. Wish they are better looking.

True, they're not terribly attractive. I wouldn't expect them to change colors or become more discreet, though, as Apple wants them visible and instantly identifiable for the sake of branding.

I just bought the airpods 2 with wired charging case at the Costco in San Jose Automation Parkway for $129.99 plus tax.

The sign indicates the new model at $144.99 which I think should be item # 1170991 but the receipt said item 1160991 at $129.99 (I think this is the old model).

The actual box says model MV7N2AM/A which as far as I can tell is the new airpods 2 with wired charging case.
