The PS4 doesn't have a 120hz settings, period.

Review says this is the 2017 with 120hz refresh rate, not* the newer 2018 240hz. Although, He mentioned it was packaged as new.

cant find a review for this one, other than motion rate, wondering how similar it is to 2018. Havent found any cheaper QLED than this although likely 2017

I watched q6fn for a few hours. I think picture quality is better than any non-qled lcd.
Also I believe it is 2018 model - I think 2017 is q6fA unless they had more than one q6 model in 2017

I'm wondering if I should order this and return the TCL 6 series I ordered yesterday...TCL was from BB but a refurb so likely a BB return that ran me $420 with 4 year protection plan. This would run about $200 more but I'm interested because of the native 120hz display and supposedly being in good shape, maybe even new.

That's where I'm at. With a 4 year protection plan, this TV will be almost $250 more and that's why I'm hesitant. That and I'm under the impression the Samsung can't do 120hz in 4k based on the Rtings review but I could be misunderstanding too. Some of that stuff is just past my level of understanding. I game with a PS4 Pro and I'd hate to buy this just to find out I still can't game at 120hz.

I did notice on BBs site that the 2019 equivalent is roughly a $1000 set. Im debating just going ahead and ordering and then returning one of the two whether it be the Samsung or the TCL.

After a bit more research, I'm reading that the PS4 Pro maxes at 60fps (30fps in 4k) so I guess it's not really an issue if I am in fact understanding correctly that the Samsung caps out at 60hz in 4k.

What are your thoughts on refurb TCL 6 series for about $250 less or this Samsung? Money is definitely an object for me

If both TV panels were perfect, then the TCL is better for the money. If you already have a decent TV, then it might be worth waiting for 6th series TCL 2019 TV coming soon, which will be in the $500 range.

Is this 2019 6 Series going to be a 120hz native? I've been searching but yet to get an answer. From what I have read, it sounds like a pretty good upgrade to the current 6 series
