I have been eyeing this combo kit for a while originally it was $399.00 about 2 months ago it was put on clearance for $349.00. i was in store today and it was marked down again to $299.00 so i finally grabbed one.

This combo kit included the FLEXVOLT 60v Brush-less Circular Saw, a 20v XR Hammer Drill, as well as 2 6ah FLEXVOLT batteries and a fast charger.

if your store has this item for less let us know in the thread!

Putting "Dewalt" in the title might help.

If you live near a Menards they have 11% so you would get a $33 in store credit if you live near one.

Didn't need this right now, but was too good a deal to pass on - maybe a limited audience but this is a FP Deal

brickseek showed 4 in boxes at my local store, but they only had 2 (@$299) when I got there. They did accept my 10% off coupon as well.

To be clear, Home Depot matches the Menards 11% rebate for in-store purchases in competing markets. For more info, see link: https://www.homedepotrebates11percent.com/#/home

Agreed, for an item that's normally $399 I'd expect clearance price to be under $200.
TTBOMK, this is a HD exclusive that would run you $500 at current discounts/packages elsewhere(Amazon). $250 is better than $299(wish I would've seen that, but didn't and can't find it posted here?), but since we can't revisit the past and once they're gone, they're gone...$299 plus coupons (was $269+tx for me) is sweet enough for me.

Thanks OP

The 20V xr practically breaks my wrist if it catches. 60V would probably do it for sure

From my experience with home depot clearance you have to look for it yourself on the top racks or where ever they are keeping the over flow inventory. It seems with. Clearance items they dont hold them in regular inventory so if you ask a employee to look it up and find it for you it will show not in stock.

As a side not this is not that great of the deal. Saw is about $80 on Ebay, hammer drill $80, batteries $70 each. So at right now prices I could get this set for $300 with no tax from people selling new parted out pieces from sets. That's just buy it now what's available today. You could prob hunter around and save more waiting on lower listings or a Ebay coupon.

That said you wouldn't have the warranty that these would come with.

As someone who bought this deal, lives on ebay and has no problem taking it back to HD - I can't find a single one of the prices for any of these new, not to mention, you're not including the tool box or charger. New/sealed on ebay w/shipping Drill $100, saw $130, and batteries are more than a new 2-pack on Amazon for $173(no charger). I'm guessing people are confusing this Flexvolt 60-volt package, with the 20v or hybrid 60v set-up.

Happy to be proven wrong.

Prices are accurate no point in arguing on the internet but you are correct that was not factoring in the charger or case. Most people getting a saw/hammer drill have a charger or multiple. Case is convenient to have but most have the bags as well.
