I grabbed this at my Home Depot for $49 at a "New Lower Price" down from $99. Website says $89, but instore is $49. Potentially YMMV. Great deal if you like Ridgid Tools. Glad I decided to walk around the Depot. Covered by the LSA too!

Happy Hunting!

1000 lumens on high. Bulb is CFL, not LED. While I like the discount and LSA, not a fan of the CFL bulb. Thanks for posting but pass for me.

In the Q&A from the RIDGID Power Tool Team:
"Hi Tim, This has LED lights in it. 12 watts total 1000 lumens, Thanks for asking. Greg"

It's an LED - read the Box.

Home Depot has the wrong instructions linked to this product. The instructions are for the old GenX3 light that has been long discontinued.

Thanks for correcting. I searched the specs there was not information there. Looked at the reviews and the comments were that the product was CFL. Mea culpa.

Not sure I actually need one of these, but I've had it in my hands before in the store. For $50 (or less), I'd be in. Thanks for the heads up

I'm in the same boat. I know I've seen this many times in the past thinking I'd never have a use for it. But at this price I'm going to pick it up. I have trouble passing up ridgid deals with lifetime on them like this.

I often find myself working in dark basements (why do tenants always remove the light bulbs?) and thought that I wanted this, but after seeing a few reviews realized that it won't be ideal for when I'm down there working on the furnace, electrical panel, washing machine, plumbing, etc., and that the Ridgid light that I really need to get is their panel light.

This lights up a much broader area, but I don't think it's enough light to really work by.

Ridgid has a light torch, which is a big LED flashlight that goes for about 69 bucks that you would like. The thing will blind you if you look at it directly. You might wanna check that out, I have one of those and it's awesome.

These big bouy lights light up large areas so you can safely walk around, not really to light up a small work area, like an electrical panel. It'll light up the garage, so you can safely walk to and from the electrical panel.

Picked one up, really unimpressed with the light output. I think multiple set up in an area would be pretty good. Might grab two more later on down the road for area lighting.
