30 day warranty seems a bit off putting.

Had too many bad experiences with DailySteals. I'd avoid.

Yes. Have had 3-4 refurb. At least 2 Cuisinarts. Can't tell from new.
Only problem I has was with a Cuisinart Kuerig machine. Bought two refurbished. One is still going strong after 5 years. One died 4 months after I got it.
Have a Cuisinart with the stainless thermal carafe in the garage. Refurb.... paid less than $30.So this is a meh deal.

It's a good price, but I recommend buying separate appliances instead of this combo unit. This after going through two of this exact Cuisinart model, with the hot-water side breaking early on each one. If you seldom use the hot-water side (for tea, cocoa, etc), it might be ok, dunno.

I do know that Amazon sells a raft of low-cost hot-water kettles that outperform, by far, the hot-water side of this machine. We've had one for over a year now that gets used several times every day, and it's great. Much faster, plus you're not limited to "one-cup-at-a-time".

Can't pour from a full pot, no matter how slowly, without water leaking down the side and all over my countertop. Waiting on a Ninja to go on sale.

We have the 49.99 one... Loved the hot water option for tea and baby formula. However, the sensor in the hot water heater side went kaput after less than a year of daily use, and it no longer senses having water in the reservoir and won't heat anymore. After googling, it seems to be somewhat common defect for the model.

In conclusion, nice design, but questionable long term reliability.

Coffeemakers break. The more features and electronic switches, the sooner they break. I've had them all. Bunns. Krups. Melitas. More. With grinders and bells & whistles, and without.

You can get a good, new, 12 cup, drip with programmed timer for $20-$25. Mr. Coffee. Last as long as any. Makes good daily grind brew. Nothing fancy. Better yet, if you can find one with a manual on-off switch. Those only die when the surface of the warmer plate wears out. Wait out the sales. Get the Mr. Coffee, not the low end Target, Macy's or WalMart house brands. You'll get a decent 2+ years on one. My current one is on its fourth.

Unfortunately our Ninja leaks down the side too. How hard can it be to make a spout that doesn't leak?!

As for this deal, we went through 3 or 4 Cuisinart's in ~6 years. They last, on average, about the warranty period. If you get lucky enough to have it fail during warranty, they want you to pay for shipping.

Ninja is nice because it's small and the water fill was so easy - but it ended up failing after 2 or 3 years as well. At this point, I seems like you have to consider most of them semi-disposable.

Make sure the plastic lid is firmly snapped down on the pot. I occasionally had the same problem, until I discovered this was the cause.

Cuisinart's "limited warranty" redefines "limited", for sure! They make some nice cookware, but I'd avoid anything they make that has an electric cord!

I had the DCC-3200, bought new, aluminum heating coil cover cracked about 2 months after the 3 year warranty ran out.

Have the DCC-1200 at our beach house. Was a SD Best Buy refurbished.... $30 delivered I believe. It's fine but does drip a tiny bit when pouring.
Have a refurb DCC- 1150 in the garage in the box. Paid $25.
Have the one with the blade grinder built in. Not a coffee snob, but it makes shit coffee. I use a separate Krups burr grinder to grind and these Cuisinarts to brew. Have had good luck with Krup Drip makers too.

I was at Walmart looking for the Cuisinart Keurig K-Cup coffee maker just the other day!
