I'm pretty sure you're wrong... it's IPS according to Rtings

EDIT: I was wrong. This is the older model according to Rtings.... therefore it is NOT IPS

You're not supposed to admit you are wrong on the internet. Deny, deflect, and redirect only. Pretty sure this is a felony.

So I take it this is a good monitor for photo editing, not so much for gaming. Does IPS vs TN matter in that regard?

I would say the opposite, but I don't know 100%. From what I understand, IN GENERAL, TN panels tend to have worse color reproduction and viewing angles than IPS, but better refresh rates. Conversely, IPS tends to have poorer blacks, better color, better viewing angles and lesser refresh rates (but they're supposedly not bad).

I'm an IPS guy myself, but I'm also not a hardcore twitchy kid gamer. Nor am I a photographer.

I would do it if it was IPS. I can't stand shitty viewing angles.

I hate to be that guy, but this is not 2k resolution. This is standard 1440p. 2048x1080 is true 2k.
