I will offend any product fanboy if they think their product is so great when theyre actually poor value. Ultrasharp monitors and macbook airs are near top of the list

I think the UltraSharps are color calibrated the best.

So basically what ur getting at is there is minimal difference between the price tag and the ultrasharp label?

Ultrasharps have their place even though a bit overpriced nowadays

For the vast majority there are better values elsewhere like the $85 one or the $140 acer one i mentioned

Ultrasharp quality is better, premium panel guarantee, Vesa mount, USB port, Displayport which another posted said it supports daisy chaining. Has an audio out as well. For me personally, I have no use for a non vesa mount monitor as I prefer a floating screen and the additional desk space

Thanks for the info but I believe both are 100x100 vesa

But I've been wrong before

I bought my Dell S2419HM at staples a few months ago for $85 with a coupon from the slickdeals FP post. IPS, 1080p, 600 Nits, 75hz, 85% color gamut, 99% sRGB color gamut, Flicker Free, Dell Easy Arrange, Dell ComfortView, HDR Ready

The U2419HX is a good basic 24 inch 1080p monitor, perhaps great if it was 2 years ago. For $150 its a meh deal today. I will take my 600 nits monitor for almost half the price any day. I would also take a lot of other deals before this one. This is a meh deal and plenty others feel the same way. For $150 I would pay $50 more and get a $200 monitor that would blow this U2419HX out of the water. A bright 2k IPS 24-27 inches.

To each their own.

Edit: Since you want a current deal as well. Ill give you one of many I would take over this Dell deal. Just did a 1 minute quick search of SD to find this. And $10 cheaper

https://www.microcenter.com/produ...ed-monitor

2k vs 1080p, 300 nits vs 250 nits, 75hz vs 60hz, Freesync vs no Freesync. It's IPS as well

Edit #2: Heres another monitor hot off the press. Get 2 of these for $150

Thanks going with option #2 need 2 when I start working from home

If you want "a monitor" or a gaming monitor, this isn't for you. If you want a cheap monitor for programming consider a P series or this. If you want a cheap monitor for somewhat accurate photo or video editing, get this.

Maybe it does. I couldn't find a mention of it but I didn't look very hard
EDIT: I cant tell if a vesa adapter is required for the cheaper monitor or not. Usually monitors with that type of stand need one and I can't find a pic showing holes in the back either.

Doing your own calibration will beat any factory calibration by a mile. It's a lot better than nothing though

So nothing unique to the ultrasharp besides premium panel guarantee? because youre mentioning very common features that make it seem like its worth the extra $65 which i grant for a few people maybe. Maybe.

And how often do you notice a dead pixel after the return period and before the 3 year warranty?

To each their own.

I just ordered the 32" Acer 1080p monitor. Curious why this one seems to be a better liked deal for a smaller and more expensive monitor? Just brand and warranty?

Acer link for reference

It's also got a fantastic stand
