I have had this router for about 3 years. I really like it but the only real benefit is that it integrates with the Google Wifi app. Decent speed, more reliable than any router I have had before (only used cable company routers before this), I can monitor traffic easily in the app, and I can reset the router remotely. Good for $55 but nothing crazy.

In for 1 as i can use it as another puck essentially in my google wifi. Cheaper than buying an individual Google Wifi Puck for twice the price.

Have 2 of them in mesh. Everything works great except I think my phone does not like it too much.

It does act as another mesh point if you have existing google wifi pucks.

I bought a pair of these a few months ago the last time they made the front page of slickdeals. I installed them at my mom's house. Let's just say the app says that her network is currently offline, but the IoT devices I have on the same network says otherwise. I won't be able to do anything until the next time I visit my mom's house.

Does anyone have experience with meshing two of them together? I want to get a 2nd one to improve connection speed on parts of the house where it's far from the router. Works great so far as a single router when its close enough.

Just curious, is it an iPhone? And what happens? Does your web browser get stuck and you have to toggle wifi off then back on again?

OnePlus 6T & Samsung Galaxy S8. Sometimes yes it just hangs. Not even a speed test works. Only on the phones. My Android boxes work at full speed.
