Okay so it's not just me laugh out loud Speaking of Sprouts.... the two times I have been able to get the ads from work, the Sprouts ad has a $3/$30. Is this a weekly thing they do with their ads? Have not made it to Sprouts yet, but you gals are always posting deals for there that I am thinking I should check them out nod
from what I can glean reading MFA, they seem to print them micro-regionally in ads-I'll have one but MIL in Danville won't. I've had them about once in 2 months. Always have been 5/30
They have an 8 day ad that overlaps Wed, so there's a good chance of finding $30 I can use.
Posted yesterday about my discoveries about using x/xx, SQs, & MQs together

Once they sold $100 GC for $90, built in addtionali 10% savings. May be regular occurance, our store is pretty new

Nice service, most known for cheap, decent produce
Also have meat counter & I think their chicken has good flavor.
Raleys always sold choice cuts of beef
SW/Lucky sold select
I don't see a grade on Sprouts beef & haven't bought much, I think only organic gr. beef. No complaints, esp. for teh sale prices I paid

Target:
made it!
not much of a trans
5 cereal, 2 steamfresh and gave away ketchup Q (2.69 here)
steamfresh $1 items included plain brown rice, white rice & brown rice with veg. Liked that better than froz peas or corn
was way on the bottom, in this store the shelf tags had curled around in a circle

I didn't see any Wolf chili-is that something we have in CA?
wanted to price Yoplait Greek 100 with TQ/MQ (heart the lemon flavor) but didn't find it
or v-day clearance
Target was in Oakridge Mall, so it may have less space & not stock everything others do.
Don't know if Target carries Wolf chili, but I got it at Safeway about two months ago when it was a freebie on j4u! (And now I keep getting j4u prices on it, but it was just a donation item for me, LOL!)

Is anyone still shopping at Raley's?!? I have not been only because I am not getting any offers and their weekly ad is not that great Frown They have mentioned on their FB page that if you don't shop, you won't get offers, but my thinking is more along the lines of... give me offers and I will shop laugh out loud

Being as I am about one mile from Winco and about 3 miles from Safeway (while at work) I just don't have a need to go to Raley's anymore. Kind of a bummer too as I was in there 2-3 times a week when they had their e-coupons. Man, I miss those Sadwalk
I do only because it's the closest grocery store to us when I need to run in and get something quick. I did buy the Chex cereal when they had it on sale a few weeks ago and also used my free Q for the energy bar. The offers still stink. Frown I have earn an extra 300 pts when you spend $30 right now and 2.50 off a $12 frozen food item. They keep giving me frozen food offers, but I don't really buy that there!

I only shop at Raleys if I'm out of something because it's the closest. I ran in the other day and onions were $1.99 a lb. Ever since they went off strike, the store seems to have gone downhill. I don't know if that is why or just a coincidence. I did the try-it program and got a nice silicone strainer that hooks to the side of the sink. I also got a free lettuce mix, chipotle infused broth (yum!) and some kind of rice mix. I keep forgetting to pick up the rice but it's going to the foodbank. They just added a free deli soup to my card. What I did on the tryit program is take the surveys and link to FB. I made about 4 or 5 FB posts BUT I made it so that I'm the only one that can see the post. I have a twitter account that I just use for contests so I tweeted the Raleys stuff there. It added a bunch of points for the try-it program. My other offers were $1.25 off $6 in produce and .75 off clementines. I probably won't use either because I've been getting all my produce at Sprouts. It was Safeway before they quit giving me $3 off $10 J4U.

I love Sprouts!!! The store is always clean and orderly. The all-natural chicken tenderloins are $1.99 lb. I love their fresh sausage. The spaghetti squash is .49 lb so I bought a case to store in the garage. I bought a case last time and we're down to the last 2. The red and green peppers are .33 each. I love their produce too.

Can I just say that those of you who do coupons at the grocery store just impress the heck out of me? I think catalinas at Safeway are way tougher with all the programming issues than ECBs at CVS.

OAN, I was calling to cancel my subscription with the San Mateo County Times since the year was up (Th, Fr, Su). When they asked me why I was canceling, I told them it was because I wanted a higher number of coupons in the paper. Anyway, they sent me over to retention who offered a full year for $20 (I could choose between Sunday only or Th, Fr, Su for pennies more). This was pretty much the same intro price that I originally had, so I signed back up again.

Furthermore, if I allowed them to autorenew on my credit card, then next year's price would also be $20 plus they will be sending paperwork to me so that I can pick out a $10 gift card. I don't remember what all the other options were...just got very excited when they said "CVS giftcard". You can cancel the auto-renew option if you want at anytime. I probably won't cancel since they will lock in the same pricing for one more year.

So if you're part of the Bay Area Newsgroup (Oakland Tribune, Mercury News, etc.), this is something to keep in mind when your subscription is at its end!

SW:
The O Organics code at SCO worked on O Organics frozen veggies (16oz). Does not work on 6 count eggs.

Bought the two Katy's kettle chips, minus BOGO, jfu for $1.50 each, - 10% tortilla chips came out to .51 for both bags. Weird math.

I haven't found the Poise product that is a MM next week & wondering if our stores stock them
one store didn't have anything but big pkg, near the fem. supplies
the other had them way in the back, next to a wall with paper supplies & near the canes, etc.
I found pkg of liners for 6.xx, but from what I've been reading the product is 3.99 reg. price

Looked near Vagasil, etc, for the washes, wipes with no luck

If you have the Diabetes meter RAQ expiring tomorrow, I was able to use it beeplessly when I bought 2 meters & also used flu Q
2 meters = 19.98
-10RAQ (be sure to give this one first)
-10fluQ (apparently this one doesn't mind overage)

Where is good place for fresh produce, especially vegetables like carrots, tomatoes, brocolli, mushrooms, onions ...??? I normally goto Felipe's market or Foothill Market for their freshness and price. Also love Lucky's weekly specials on vegies. Just found this thread. What do you think, any recommendation?

I'm also looking for frozen leafy vegies, like spinach or mix, maybe 5 pounder?? Do they sell such thing? Costco looked at me weird when I asked. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) I'm not vegetarian, but I do eat huge amount of it.

Lucky's does run some good prices on fruit and veg, but not too many great deals on organic.

I recently joined a CSA in my area and wow, i can't believe I haven't done it sooner. At least the one I joined, it is a fabulous deal. I got a huge bag of veggies for $15. I weighed everything in my bag (spinach, kale, swiss chard, apples, sweet potatoes, broccoli, caulliflower and pears) and if i had purchased the same amount at Whole Foods or Safeway, i would have spent $30. And, it's all organic. We are so lucky in california to have CSA options. You just have to ask around or start googling to find one near you.

Costco does offer good prices on bulk produce, but I haven't noticed good prices on frozen produce. Their prices are so good though, that it would be a good deal to purchase their veggies and freeze them yourself!
