Mod Edit: This will become the new Northern California Grocery Stores Thread.

Thank you to missusg and mcube for starting up threads for the individual stores for Northern California.

Due to how the timestamp works - it is with apologies to mcube (who started the Lucky thread) that your post is now #141 -- When a thread is merged the posts go in timestamp order.

Please note that there is a 30 day rule for reps -- so any post greater than 30 days old cannot be repped.

This message to remain for the next 24 hours so that our NoCal users can get used to this. Smilie

Savemart/Lucky/Raley's/Bel Air/Nob Hill and other local chains welcome

We're not too rigid, any deals of NORCAL interest welcome

Been recommended that I tell people to play nice, just post deals and no fighting

SW:FAQ BlackForest organic gummy worms $1 - $1MQ (1-31ss) or IP (ss.com, zip 77477) local FB Q group showed pics

I had checked online when it was reported on SW FB group last week(for Oregon area) and while local price for reg. gummy worms were $1, the organic price was $2.19
But the pics I saw were from bay area group & definitely included organic
found these today
not on candy aisle, there was a secondary hanging candy display right in the CS desk

sign said $1 but they rang up 1.99 (apparently $1 was another item)
so the clerk adjusted price for me
but YMMV
*******
I don't usually WAG but saw a post about free Starburst gum
.50/1 Q on c.com - been offered a few times. I had one about to expire & printed 2 more
Wrigley's on sale 2/$1, rang up 3/1.50 and FAQ
*******

Noticed possible good deal at Target
couldn't make it there today

5/25 IAQ meat/seafood
advertised Simply Balanced seafood 15% off
$1/1 TQs available to print
5% CW

there's also $1/1 Laura's mQ in SW monthly book. I wanted to hit the SW that carries Laura's but it got too late. Shopped during SuperBowl and thought it would be dead. RA wasn't. Lots of people buying beer & chips (why weren't they actually watching the game?)

glad that mess is over. commuting by train is hard enough for DH, didn't need a bunch of yahoos going to Super Bowl City. And those idiots who think it's celebratory to shoot off fireworks in neighborhoods!!Chairbash /rant

My 99cent still hasn't ever had Dave's Killer bread!

The so delicious coconut milk that is in the small tetra packs does not list carrageenan (we also stay away from that). It has:

ORGANIC COCONUT MILK (WATER, ORGANIC COCONUT CREAM), ORGANIC DRIED CANE SYRUP, COCOA (PROCESSED WITH ALKALI), NATURAL FLAVORS, SEA SALT, CALCIUM PHOSPHATE, GUAR GUM, MAGNESIUM PHOSPHATE, XANTHAN GUM, VITAMIN A ACETATE, VITAMIN D2, L-SELENOMETHIONINE (SELENIUM), ZINC OXIDE, REB A (STEVIA EXTRACT), MONK FRUIT, FOLIC ACID, VITAMIN B12

My family also thinks arugula is too spicy. I love it. If you wilt it in a pan, like spinach, it doesn't really have that bite any more.
I haven't seen the Killer bread lately, but they always have the Sarah Lee breads. We did stock up when they last had the Dave's bread. Very hit/miss. Good to know about the SO Delicious. Smilie Thank you!

How many came in the small tetrapacks for 99c? were they 2/99c?

I also saw Kashi bars this weekend but it was only 5/box so not such a great value.
