Mod Edit: This will become the new Northern California Grocery Stores Thread.

Thank you to missusg and mcube for starting up threads for the individual stores for Northern California.

Due to how the timestamp works - it is with apologies to mcube (who started the Lucky thread) that your post is now #141 -- When a thread is merged the posts go in timestamp order.

Please note that there is a 30 day rule for reps -- so any post greater than 30 days old cannot be repped.

This message to remain for the next 24 hours so that our NoCal users can get used to this. Smilie

Looks like a slow week, but saw some good deals Sprouts online ad:
organic Valencia oranges 4 lb bags 1.98
    seedless red/green grapes 98c/lb
wonder if these mini seedless watermelons 2/$3 are any good? anyone tried before from Sprouts?
5 lb organic carrots $2.98, not much higher than Costco's 10 lbs and easier to go through b4 they wilt.
boneless skinless chicken thighs $1.49/lb, not too bad
oats 2lb/$1, my regular go to price
nut butters bogo package free, not sure what reg prices are but I think they include all kinds of nuts
Kerrygold pure irish butter 8 oz is $2 each, is that a good price?
mild cheddar bulk cut cheese is $2.99/lb, sounds pretty good
Q: Anyone have grocery reports this week? Smilie

I went to sprouts yesterday, and picked up two of this mini seedless watermelons, it was that deluca (sp?)brand. Opened it up last night, they were okay, not super sweet. My Sprouts app had a $2/20 coupon that expired yesterday, not sure if there is one this week too.

Whole Foods app has a $5 off $20 fruits/vegetables coupon. Can be used in conjunction with MF coupons (like driscolls) but not with other whole foods coupons.

    that's too bad, Sactogirl
i've always had good experiences with Dulcinea
Melons I got today were very small, the one I opened was good

also Sprouts: Tasty Bite rice 1.50. There's a $1/1 at Smartsource (2 per browser, ad lately I've gotten 2 in private mode,2 in reg. mode). Hubs says these rice pkgs "need help" so I add some sauce or spices. Entrees are 2.50.
Daisy sour cream 2/$4 and there's a $1/2 in the June Dairy flyer.
I'm having a harder time finding "light" sour cream, and Sprouts has it. They even a fat free (Lilly brand),

Been messing with Rite Aid/Oreos deals
and I really like the thin mint ones, which it turns out aren't part of any RA deal, but at 2.50 this week and using the b2g1 IP, not a bad price
If you can get them to take IP before your card and they give max value of the IP, about $1/pk

Also, I saw Target Cartwheel has Oreo Thins (only) 30% off
    2.99 ea
    2.99 x 3 -30% -2.99 b2g1 IP (don't think you'd get max value @ T)
    comes out to $1.10/pk

I had appt in another town, north of train stn. Easier to stay there & shop before picking up DH than go home.
I read awhile ago about clearance kitty litter & that Target had 52. No one else had any. Today,e 2 left,--- 35lb ea
The "cart stops here" wasn't marked in the parking lot. I'm 2 parking aisles from my car, dead cart & 70 lbs of cat litter. I moved them toward the cart handle-put one in the baby seat - and lifted the front of the cart. Worked pretty good., the litter weighting the end with working wheets, but I was a sweaty litter-toter by the time I got to my car
