It's mostly about convenience. $3 for 150 classics that I know will be on my Kindle and any future Amazon e-reader device I may have.

I'm pretty sure most of these are free in an e-reader format already, so look around before you buy.

Really? It's a buck and most SDs have slow digital credit to use up. Plus it's correct format and proofread for you. Have downloaded many free ones to find them almost unusable. At 2 cents a story/book, can't complain.

A couple of years back I purchased Moby Dick haven't finished it yet.
The life becomes too busy with crappy things.
I used to finish books way back in 90s and early 2000 in tube (that's Subway in London), while traveling for college and work. But those times we don't have phones or tablets everyone in tube either have newspaper or books that's the last era I guess we humans used paper books to read.
BTW, The volume 1 collection is really good read.

I can agree with the convenience factor making it worth it.

Unlike physical books, what I pay here will go with me when I die. I can't pass them to my kids. Hopefully, one day Amazon will allow me to pass these books to my kids. I wish Amazon allowed original owners transfer titles once.
