FYI:TCL 6 Series 65” now at Costco warehouse

was at costco looking for a few things and noticed the TCL 4 and 5 series were nowhere but then i saw a fresh pallet with 65" 6 series on it (no price on them yet). i don't believe this model was ever sold by Costco so for anyone looking at this model take a look at costco in the coming days. their warranty(and optional square trade) combined with the lenient return policy make it a great option for those looking.

that's pretty standard for a va panel the trade off is much better contrast ratio. if you have wide seating an ips panel would be better but the contrast ratio won't be very good
But on a 65inch screen its hard to be directly in the center, some TVs are worse than others. The QLEDs like Vizio and Samsung seem to fare better there.

Costco number is 65R613. BestBuy is 65R615. All the others are 65R617. The Best Buy ones have a different remote without voice functions and remote is line of sight. My question then, is what is the Costo version? The box say it has voice functions. Perhaps just a different bezel color? My Costco in Eureka Ca just got them in a week ago, 699.99. The TV guy knows what it is and is surprised that they haven't sold one yet. He said if I use the Costco credit card I get 4 year warranty.

Why is Costco getting them so late? They're pretty old stock now.

You can get the new QLED model for just $100 more, makes sense no one will but the 61x models anymore. $800 vs $700 for a jump to QLED seems lke a no-brainer, if you factor in no-taxes its almost a free upgrade!

I was actually about to pull the trigger on the R625:

https://www.beachcamera.com/shop/...2019-Model

Its $800 and no tax unlike Costco, but ya you lose 1 yr of Costco warranty. But for me its $70 savings in taxes which could pay for a great after market warranty (although I got the Citi CC so I can get an extra 2 yrs so I think im fine with the 3 yrs total).

I didn't buy yet because I want rtings to compare it to the Hisense H9F and lemme know the winner Applause

Costco liquidates 2018 models as the 2019 models come out. I know this because I got a 75 inch tv for pretty cheap from them as the new ones came out last year. Saw them doing the same thing with the tvs this year too.
What time of year is this usually for most brands? Is TCL out of the norm by doing it this late in the year?
