Odd to see a backpack with a "women specific fit" any guys have experience with this? What's different vs one of their regular unisex backpacks

it has to do with how it will end up on or near your waist in order to help carry/manage the weight better. im gonna assume that height is the bigger factor instead of gender.

Great deal! My wife and I both have Osprey packs for hiking. Quality build and lifetime warranty! And remember REI has a stellar return policy.

Most likely designed to fit smaller backs based on torso size. If you're a smaller guy it would probably not be that big of a deal but I would imagine it's uncomfortable to hike with if not sized right. I always go by sizing charts. I usually buy Gregory packs and they have S M L sized packs. Each pack gets longer and fits your height more accurately depending on size of torso etc

The shoulder straps are spaced differently on a woman's pack vs. a man's. Also the straps themselves will be cut/formed different to accommodate a woman's chest area.

My wife and I have several hiking backpacks she gets the women's version and the only difference is the torso and hip measurements for a comfortable fit. I have no issues carrying her pack with 40lbs for 20 miles if I take the time to adjust it ( she is like a 17.5 torso where I am a 19 so if there is an adjustment usually I can make it work ).

You should just measure your torso I'd guess if you are 19 or less and not overweight you'll be fine with this pack..

I'm waiting for gender related comments, because after 2016, we have more than 5 gender
You sound annoyed by the fact that others feel compelled to lead authentic lives. I'm curious to know how a trans person has impacted YOU personally in a negative way. If that hasn't happened, it sounds like you're whining about things that you have no control over. Find something else to be outraged about that really is causing pain in this world.
