Just bought a Garmin a couple months ago and it came with this.... https://www.buydig.com/shop/produ...m-Magellan. Not sure if it would meet your needs better but it does work great for the Garmin and no more sticking a suction cup to the window.

Yes. I bought a gps with a mount like that maybe when gps came out first two years (long long time ago). Don't know what to do with the mount. Maybe if I can pull off that original suction cup and use another suction cup on it. Now I can have a use for it. For some reason never thought of pulling the original suction cup off.

Yeah, I'll have to see if I can find mine. Mine had a ball mount, as I remember, semi-specific to Garmin mounts. I don't think it was removable but I could be wrong.
