Are these fake? Must be for that price, right?

For these prices, I might as well get a reputable pair of sunglasses(Raybans) when they're on sale

I've long wondered: can anybody explain why these are worth so much more than $10-20 no-name brands? I've seen these glasses for what seems like insanely high prices & I just can't see why I'd spend so much for something so easily lost or broken. Please educate me.

Seen a lot of oakley dumping sales. I'd honestly never pay full price (or anything less than 50% off) for oakleys again.

If you have to ask this, then you should just keep buying cheap pairs.

They actually block harmful UV rays, unlike the cheap gas station sunglasses. They're also more durable and more comfortable. And not everybody loses/breaks their sunglasses. I still have a couple of pairs of Ray-Bans that are over 10 years old.

Thanks for the utterly useless & condescending response to an honest & open-minded question. People like you are why I don't buy them - I only see insecure asshats trying to impress others with what they blow their money on buying these. You've done nothing to change that impression. Probably the kind of person who bought the "I am Rich" app [wikipedia.org].

polycarbonate blocks UV. Almost all glasses are made of polycarbonate.
